I grew up summering on Fire Island. My grandparents founded our family real estate business here in the 1950s. My mother ran it after them.
In my 20s, I did two things: I got my real estate license in 2014, and my sister and I opened the Fire Island Ice Cream Co. in Ocean Beach. Entrepreneurship has been in the DNA from the start.
I’d been investing in Fire Island real estate for years by then. Since 2015, representing buyers and sellers has been my focus. Today I make my home in Seaview with my wife and two kids.
I’ve been through Hurricane Sandy, the 2020 buying frenzy, the 2022 peak, and the rate-driven slowdown that followed. Same approach the whole way through: tell the truth, walk the house with my eyes open, earn the next one.
I’m a partner at Fire Island Sales & Rentals, the largest brokerage on the island. Founded by my grandparents in the 1950s, run today by my sister Abi and me.
